With or without
a teacher
Learning from a book
A "sacred state of
mind" is the attitude of spiritual respect while
you do a spiritual practice. It’s not a religious
attitude, but a personal growth attitude in relation
with your spirit. A sacred attitude, or a sacred state
of mind, is keeping your focus on your relationship
with the Supreme Consciousness while you make a spiritual
practice. It means that a spiritual practice, like kuji-in,
should not be done in a "mundane" or day-to-day
life attitude. You should not practice kuji-in in the
same mental attitude that you watch a horror movie or
go to a football game, unless you are illumed and see
Supreme Consciousness in football, even in horror.
The goals of having a
teacher are to:
1- Teach the sacred attitude, the respect of the Supreme
Consciousness while you develop faith
2- Inspire the student and encourage to continue the
learning process
3- Augment the energy level of the technique so it will
be integrated faster
4- Guide the student in the correct technique, if deviations
occur
You do not have to implicate
yourself in a religion, in order to learn kuji-in. People
who already have found their own faith will have good
results practicing any kind of spiritual technique,
with or without a teacher in front of them. Yet, without
a teacher/master/guide, no one will be there to encourage
you; you will have to count only on yourself.
The real consequence of
not having a master directly in front of you, is that
you will have to build up the energy by yourself, and
it can take a bit more time to integrate the technique
in your energy bodies. Also, you should not improvise
when learning from a book, as you should follow the
instructions as close as possible, to avoid deterioration
of the technique. Once you feel like you are doing your
best, trust yourself and practice diligently. Doubt
will only limit the results of the technique.
If you can’t find
a teacher, it would only hinder your progress to prevent
yourself from learning the technique from a book. You
should start from where you are on your path, and use
the means that are available to you.
Finding a teacher
Although we could read
the technicality of the ritual practice in any book,
only the insight and the guidance of a teacher can bring
the understanding of the proper attitude to keep in
order to stimulate the revelation process. A competent
teacher is one who experienced the phenomena of inner
revelation quite a few times over a long period of time.
We could say that a competent teacher is one who learned
the technique he teaches by himself, but this would
shed doubt on the competence of the teacher. The most
important factor is the guidance that the practitioner
received in order to attain the state of revelation.
This revealed knowledge is simply validated by the teacher,
so the student does not doubt his first experiences.
If the student has competence in pedagogy and has acquired
enough of the deeper understanding of the technique
over the years, he might eventually become a teacher
himself in the future.
Here are some pointers
to identify a competent teacher. A competent kuji-in
teacher believes in a universal spiritual concept (named
God or not). He meditates often, and he has so for many
years. He will emphasize the importance of the philosophy
and its contemplation. He will have great self-trust
and usually be in a state of harmony, but will accept
himself to the fullest in times of turbulence. He will
have a great passion for life and he will inspire you.
He will require an exchange for his guidance, for he
knows about the laws of karma and responsibility, but
he will not ask for more than necessary. A teacher will
not brag about his competence, he will like to keep
his spirituality for himself and for his students. Most
of all, we recognize a tree from its fruits. If you
are having a fruitful experience from learning with
a teacher, then the teacher is a competent one. When
you are certain you have outgrown what a teacher can
bring to you, seek a higher source of knowledge.
Becoming a teacher
Many spiritual seekers,
holistic healers and martial artists of different paths
like to develop mastery of the Nine Hand Seals Transformational
Approach, to assist in their own path of self-development.
Sometimes, they also want to teach it, and have the
proper recognition for doing so.
Since Kuji-in is not a
full spiritual path in itself, but a toolset applicable
to many other paths, training up to the “master”
level does not require years of training with an in-person
master, but implies a progressive learning process that
includes: 1- acquiring the knowledge, 2- practicing
the technique a lot, 3- receiving sporadic in-person
teachings. The first step can be mostly achieved by
reading the 3 books of the Kuji-In trilogy, yet that
would just not be enough. A few conversations with a
Kuji-In master are in order if you wish the verify your
level of integration of the technique, and a simple
initiation process can be included, where the initiating
master can sense the depth of the student, and stimulate
the integration of the technique with a few experimental
challenges. Each Kuji-in training is adapted to the
path of the seeker.
Anyone can be trained
up to the "Teacher" level. If anyone were
to train in Kuji-in up to the “master” level,
I would grant him/her the right to teach and initiate
others in the “Nine Hand Seals Transformational
Approach”. Note that a Kuji-in master is not an
Overall Spiritual Master, but simply someone who masters
this technique in its application, adapted to his/her
own path. I prefer not to initiate masters who do not
have a spiritual, martial arts or self-development path
of their own. Kuji-in masters can belong to any path,
religion or belief, even self-made or martial art paths.
Mastering Kuji-In do not
automatically grant you the right to initiate other
masters. Like in Rei-Ki, Ayurveda, any martial arts,
or any other powerful art, for a master to initiate
other Kuji-in masters, the initiator must have the prior
permission to initiate other masters. To initiate other
students as masters implies to be able to feel the soul
of other people, to bind spiritual dimensions and commune,
to have a great power of manifestation,… but mostly,
a great ability to remain in a state of compassion,
even while in personal trial. However, all those life
changing abilities are thought in the kuji-in learning
process after a few years of diligent practice.
Privileges
of initiated teachers and masters of the Nine Hand Seals
Transformational Approach:
- Kuji-in teachers and masters receive
a tangible certificate for themselves, attesting
of the completion of their training.
- Kuji-in teachers and masters may
purchase books at a discount price.
Requirements
of a master of the Nine Hand Seals Transformational
Approach:
- Be engaged in a spiritual, self-development
or martial arts path.
- Respect for the knowledge of the
Transformational Approach.
- Diligent practice of the “Emotional
Transmutation” technique (advanced and masters).
- Availability to guide newcomers with
respect of each their own path.
- Basic knowledge of the Buddhist spirituality
and meditation.
You cannot expect to become
a Kuji-In Master in a few weeks. A lot of practice of
the advanced techniques is required. Re-reading the
books from time to time is required, since we tend to
forget the most important self-development aspects.
If you have acquired all 3 books of François
Lépine’s Kuji-In trilogy, or have spent
enough time in direct training with a certified master,
you may contact us to request
a communication with François Lépine or
an initiating master. Certifications can also be done
at the end of a seminar,
if requested at least two weeks before the seminar.
To be accepted as a Kuji-In Master, is not a question
of money, but a question of personal depth and self-implication
each on your own path. |
